Work On Events Center On Pace For Timely Completion

progress-of-the-crossroads-pavilion-november-2016Sheldon, Iowa — Progress continues on Sheldon’s new Crossroads Pavilion events center.

Sheldon Public Works Director Todd Uhl says work is coming along nicely on the events center, which is projected to cost $5.3 million.

He says construction is right on pace to finish on time.

Uhl says the nice weather we’ve had up until this point this fall has even given workers a chance to get outside work done ahead of pace.

The name “Crossroads Pavilion” was selected for the 12,750 square foot facility in early August. It is being built south of Sheldon Crossing, southwest of the Highway 60 exit for Highway 18, between the roundabout on Runger Avenue and the pond.
