Spencer, Iowa — The “World’s Greatest County Fair”, the Clay County Fair, opens its nine-day run this weekend at the Fairgrounds in Spencer.
Due to the pandemic, fair officials were forced to cancel the 2020 version of the “World’s Greatest County Fair” and Fair CEO and Manager Jeremy Parsons says it’s been way to long since the Clay County Fair was last held.
The gates will open bright and early this Saturday morning (September 11th) on the 2021 edition of the Clay County Fair, and Parsons tells us about some of the things going on for Opening Day.
The “World’s Greatest County Fair” runs Saturday, September 11th through Sunday, September 19th at the Fairgrounds in Spencer.
