Alton, Iowa — These days it can be hard to afford groceries, but Saturday, July 15th, there will be a food distribution in Alton that anyone is invited to come to.
Rod Hofmeyer, Director and Co-Founder of Zestos, tells us the Zestos Food Share Walk-up or Drive-up will take place at the OK Cafe, which is located in downtown Alton. He tells us about some of the items they will have.
Hofmeyer says during the pandemic the number of people who came to the food shares went up, however, those numbers are beginning to come back down. He tells us at this food share there will also be some furniture for people who need it to take.
