Foodie Friday:
The most favorite side dish for Thanksgiving in Iowa is corn casserole. To make it you take 1 can of drained corn, 1 can of creamed corn, 1 cup of sour cream, 1 stick of melted butter (or 1/2 cup of butter), 1 box of corn muffin mix. Mix them together in a pan and bake for about an hour.
Corn casserole is also the most favorite side dish in most of the midwest, except for the state of Minnesota. That state’s favorite side dish is sweet potato casserole.
