Foodie Friday:

It’s National Chocolate Souffle Day!

A chocolate souffle is a light and airy French desert made with eggs, chocolate and other ingredients. It’s usually baked in a small remekin.

  1. To make, you will need to combine egg yolks, flour, milk and any other ingredients of your choice.
  2. Beat egg whites until stiff
  3. Fold egg whites into the egg yolk mixture
  4. Bake in a ramekin until puffed and lightly brown on top

For perfect tasting and texture, it should be velvety and soft in the middle, crunchy on the top, light and airy and have a subtle egg flavor.
