It’s National Shrimp Day! According to a study, America’s favorite shrimp dish is shrimp scampi.

Scampi are small crustaceans with pale pink shells that are similar to lobster, but Italian cooks in the United States use shrimp instead of scampi. The recipe goes as follows:

1. Saute the shrimp until they turn pink, which can take two-to-four minutes.
2. Stir in parsley and lemon juice.
