IARN — Despite the economic situation we have found ourselves in, the need to replace equipment is still ongoing. Machinery knows no economic situation and with grain prices still in a good place, farmers are keeping the sales of some machinery pieces growing. The recent report of June’s agricultural equipment sales from the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) shows that combine sales continued to rise in the last month.
Curt Blades is the Senior Vice President of Ag Services with AEM. He says that overall optimism is still fueling the purchase of our largest machinery investment in the combine.
