IARN – Trade is a topic of much discussion in agriculture. Our industry thrives on what we send overseas, and other countries depend on our goods that help to feed the world. However, the economic situation around the globe, and especially here at home, has made for some hurdles in getting more sales, because we are higher priced than our competitors in the market. This means that we must offset this by trade deals, negotiations, and trade policy. That is why farmers and ranchers are asking their representation in Congress to lean on the Biden Administration for a more aggressive trade agenda.
