Northwest Iowa — Rains in the region have helped crops in some areas, but other areas haven’t been so lucky. That from Iowa State University Extension Crop Specialist Joel De Jong.

But De Jong says the view is not all rosy.

He gives us a hay update.

De Jong says we are probably a little ahead of normal on soybean maturity.
