IARN — Sustainability in agriculture is something that all farmers strive for in one way or another. Every farmer would like to plant and grow crops on their land during the next growing season as well. Farmers cannot afford to only focus on the here and now.
All farmers should strive to either keep their land at the same quality it is currently at or try to make improvements to that land for better farming in the future. Liz Hunt, head of sustainable and responsible business at Syngenta, says that farmers are already using sustainable practices on their farm even if they don’t realize it.
