IARN — Last Friday, the Iowa Beef Industry Council (IBIC), Iowa Cattlemen’s Association (ICA), and the Office of the Governor of Iowa launched its fundraising for the Iowa Governor’s Charity Steer Show (GCSS). It was a nice, sunny day, and several of Iowa’s ag leaders were in attendance, including Iowa Ag Secretary Mike Naig and Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds.
Tanner Lawton, ICA Director of Field Services & co-chair of the GCSS, opened up the event by talking about the show’s 40th anniversary and the theme of “togetherness.”
