IARN — Labor shortages have been a critical issue in the agriculture sector in recent years.
On his weekly conference call on Tuesday, Iowa U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley was asked about the Farm Workforce Modernization Act. The act has passed the House of Representatives twice since 2019 and Grassley was asked about how likely he feels that the senate could consider and pass the bill before the end of the year.
