Growth Energy will use fly-in to accelerate advocacy

IARN — The elections are coming up very soon. No matter what side of the aisle you are on, there are some issues that we all share in and mostly agree on. For instance, the cost of gasoline in the past months. While it is coming down, if anybody is hoping to retain a seat in Congress, they are likely going to not want to cause any more injury to the pocketbooks of Americans across every financial level. This means finding ways of keeping our fuel costs low.

Those of us in the Ag industry know this is an easy answer. However, in Washington, it has been much less clear. On one side you have Big oil and the legislators that support them. You also have the environmentalists who are right now pushing the notion that we need EV’s now without a transition plan. Caught in the middle you have the biofuels industry. They are a part of fuel blends from the oil industry, and they are also trying to improve the environment like EVs. The biggest thing that biofuels have going for them is that they are available NOW.

Growth Energy is going to be hosting their fly-in for the 13th Annual Biofuel Summit in Washington. Growth Energy’s CEO Emily Skor says now is more important than ever for the event to be in-person for the first time since 2019.
