IARN — When we have been talking about the pork industry lately, we have focused on things like the low market prices, and the Prop 12 issue. However, there is much more to what is going on in the industry. Obviously, when we are dealing with a global economy that is being strained for one reason or another, it is important to make sure that our export markets remain strong. The National Pork Producers Council (NPPC) is dedicated to carrying that momentum forward.
Maria Zieba is Vice President of International Affairs for the NPPC, and she talks about the good news of solid exports last year, and the strength we have seen so far in 2023.
