IARN — Oral arguments are now complete in the Sackett vs. EPA case before the Supreme Court, but there is still a lot of uncertainty about how to determine whether the federal government has jurisdiction over certain pieces of land.
Courtney Briggs, senior director of government affairs for the American Farm Bureau Federation, says that a previous Supreme Court case has led to some of the confusion. That case created two tests of jurisdiction.
