Solinftec showcases fully autonomous solar-powered sprayer

IARN — Every year, farmers engage in a heated battle with weeds. There are many different strategies they can use, but one of the more effective ones is targeted application. This minimizes the inputs required to keep those weeds under control. However, it also requires a lot of work to constantly analyze those fields for weed outbreaks. To help with that, Solinftec has been working on a fully autonomous solar-powered sprayer. Taylor Wetli of Solinftec said the sprayer will continuously go through and analyze the field to keep track of weed and crop conditions.
