IARN — Nitrogen hit record prices in the fall of 2022 and though prices have dropped from those highs with the fine line of profitability for producers, managing nitrogen to optimize the return on investment is imperative.
Nitrogen is the most essential nutrient needed by crops of all types for plant growth and development. It also is one that can be tricky to manage since it can be lost into the environment, which is both an economic and environmental concern.
