Arnolds Park CEO Concerned Over Possible Cuts On Federal Level To J-1 Exchange Visitor Program

Arnolds Park, Iowa — Proposed cuts on the federal level that would impact the BridgeUSA J-1 Exchange Visitor Program have some northwest Iowa officials concerned. Jon Pausley, CEO of the Arnolds Park Amusement Park, says they rely heavily on that program each year for workers.

Pausley says this summer alone, 115 J-1 students are working at Arnolds Park.

In 2023, Historic Arnolds Park, Incorporated, opened an on-site dormitory to house the J-1 student-workers.

Pausley encourages those with concerns over the potential cut to get more information at arnoldspark.com/saveBridgeUSA.
