August Was Drier Than Normal, But About Normal On Temperature In Sheldon

Sheldon, Iowa — The month of August was drier than normal but about normal as far as temperature in Sheldon.

According to the weather facts collected by KIWA Radio, the highest high was 93 degrees, recorded on both August 2 and August 3. The lowest high temperature was 68 degrees, recorded August 20.

The lowest low in the month was 48 on August 8. The highest low was 71 on August 25.

The average high for the month was 80. The normal is 81. The average low was 60. The normal is 57. The average temperature as-a-whole for the month was 70 degrees, and normally it’s 69.
