Sheldon, Iowa — Perspective Insurance recently helped out some soldiers serving in the Middle East with the help of people in and around Sheldon.
Trisha Cannoy with Perspective Insurance tells us they would like everyone to know that they shipped 300 shirts to our Iowa troops overseas and sent 36 care packages to them as well.
Perspective Insurance sponsored what’s known as a “red out” in January at a high school basketball game. They also sold t-shirts, with proceeds going to help the effort as well.
The effort started when two sons of Rachel Kleinhesselink, who works at Perspective, were deployed to Syria.

Cannoy says Perspective Insurance wants to thank everyone who bought a Red-Out t-shirt, donated items for the care packages, and donated money to Sponsor a Soldier. She says it was a huge success, and it happened “because great people were willing to donate and Remember Everyone Deployed!”
