Maurice, Iowa — Significant changes are in the works for the Million Dollar Corner — the intersection of Highways 10 and 75 near Maurice.
Officials say right-turn lanes on 75 will probably be turned into positive offset right-turn lanes, which shifts them over to the right. This is to help drivers stopped on Highway 10 to see traffic better. Sarah Tracy, District 3 Planner for the Iowa Department of Transportation, tells us when these changes will take place.
At Perkins Corner near Hull, roundabouts are being added to the Highways 75 and 18 junctions to slow down traffic. Tracy explains a roundabout isn’t out of the question for Million Dollar Corner in the future either.
