Lake Park, Iowa — Construction of the new Harris-Lake Park Elementary School continues at a brisk pace. In fact, Superintendent Mike Thompson tells KUOO news the progress is ahead of schedule and is even nearing substantial completion.
Thompson adds there’s also good news on the financial front…
Voters in the Harris-Lake Park Community School District approved an 18.6 million dollar bond issue for the project in November 2023. It also includes some renovations to the middle school-high school building.
