Dates Released For Bids For Osceola County Jail Addition And Remodeling Project

Sibley, Iowa — Back in November, Osceola County voters approved a five-million-dollar bond issue for the addition and remodeling of the Osceola County Jail in Sibley.

Osceola County Sheriff Kevin Wollmuth has released some dates in regard to the project.

He tells us a little about the project.

He says the bid letting date has been confirmed. Recommendations for bid award will be presented to the Board on October 22nd. Wollmuth says plans and specifications will be received from the design team on September 13th. He says plans will be printed and distributed to plan holders the week of September 16th, and the bids will be received from the contractors on October 17th.
