Dickinson County Regional Collection Center Has Free Compost & Woodchips Available

Milford, Iowa – The Dickinson County Conservation Board has a little something for you if you’re looking to get a jumpstart on your garden and landscaping this spring. Charles Vigdahl operates the Dickinson County Regional Collection Center just east of Milford on County Road A-34.

He says they also have plenty of woodchips available right now.

And, the price is right.

Vigdahl says you should call ahead at 338-2549 if you need it loaded for you. The center is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm and Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm. It is closed on holidays.
