Spirit Lake, Iowa — The Dickinson County Board of Supervisors this (Tues.) morning voted five-to-nothing to approve hiring Jeff Rose as County Engineer, replacing Cole Budach who resigned recently to become County Engineer in Clay County.

Rose currently is an engineer with the Jacobson-Westergard firm and has overseen a number of projects for the city of Arnolds Park. Rose starts his new job as Dickinson County Engineer in late November.

Doug Julius, a longtime former county engineer for Sioux County, is filling in on an interim basis.
