Worthington, Mn. – This time of year is extremely busy for area farmers and along with that comes a reminder about safety. Liz Stahl is with the University of Minnesota Extension Service in Worthington. Stahl says there are numerous dangers out there this time of year, especially for producers applying nitrogen…specifically, anhydrous ammonia.
She offers a number of tips to stay safe when working with anhydrous.
Stahl adds it’s extremely important to report any incidents or leaks involving anhydrous as quickly as possible.
