Spencer, Iowa (KUOO) — Seasons Center invites community professionals and caregivers to attend a free training seminar focused on understanding how trauma affects children and the adults who support them.
Sarah Heinricks-Wurm, the Vice President of Program Development and Specialized Services at Seasons Center, says the training will be done in two parts.
Heinrichs-Wurm says this training is especially important now.
This free training seminar will take place on April 16th from 1 to 4 p.m. at Hope Church in Spencer. This training is designed for professionals and caregivers who work with children.
