Des Moines, Iowa — Governor Kim Reynolds has announced the appointments of several northwest Iowa residents to various state boards and commissions.
They include Johnathon Tuvera of Sioux County who was appointed to the Commission of Deaf Services; Sheldon City Manager Sam Kooiker (of O’Brien County) who was appointed to the Civil Rights Commission; Loretta Laubach of O’Brien County who was appointed to the Real Estate Appraiser Examining Board; Nancy McDowell of O’Brien County who will serve on the State Workforce Development Board, and Kimberly VanBeek of Lyon County who was appointed to the Developmental Disabilities Council.
