Lake Park, Iowa — Some public hearings are on the agenda for a special meeting Monday (Feb. 10th) of the Harris-Lake Park School Board.
They pertain to two proposed construction projects that would be funded through an $18.6 million bond issue voters approved in November 2023. The main part of the bond is funding the construction of a new elementary school, which is underway, but some other projects are included as well.
The first hearing Monday, scheduled for 12 Noon, is for plans, specifications, form of contract, and estimated costs for a new bus barn. The other, scheduled for 12:15 pm, pertains to proposed plans, specifications, form of contract, and estimated costs for improvements to the auditorium.
The hearings will be held in the board room at the Harris-Lake Park Middle School-High School.
