Hull Woman Taken To Hospital After Orange City Area Accident

Orange City, Iowa — A Hull woman was taken to a hospital after an accident on Thursday morning, February 15th, 2024.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 7:10 a.m., 15-year-old Annika Kroeze of Sioux Center was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Impala eastbound on Highway 10, five miles west of Orange City. They tell us 25-year-old Kathryn Pine of Hull was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Aveo westbound on Highway 10.

According to the report, Pine lost control of the vehicle she was driving, which crossed the center of the road and struck the Kroeze Impala.

The Orange City Ambulance took Pine to the Orange City Area Health System.

Each vehicle sustained approximately $7,000 in damage.

The sheriff’s office tells us the Orange City Police Department, Orange City Fire Department, and Orange City Ambulance Squad assisted with the response to the accident.
