Larchwood, Iowa – A young Inwood man is dead as the result of a single-vehicle crash near Larchwood Friday evening (December 27th).
According to the Iowa State Patrol, about 8:30 Friday evening, a 2013 Chrysler 200 was westbound on 180th Street. When the car approached the curve at 180th and Ashley Avenue, troopers say it went straight off the curve into the north ditch and struck a tree.
The Iowa State Patrol identifies the car’s driver as 21-year-old Jenner Nicholas Johnson of Inwood. Troopers say Johnson was killed in the crash.
The Iowa State Patrol was assisted by the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, Larchwood EMS, and Larchwood Fire.
