Iowa Drivers Need To Remember To Move Over For Stopped Vehicles

Statewide Iowa (RI) — Trooper Paul Gardner of the Iowa State Patrol says it’s been the law to move over for stopped vehicles in Iowa for more than 20 years, but it’s only recently been passed in all 50 states.

Law enforcement focused on making sure motorists move over during a special operation earlier this summer.

Ignoring the law could bring a $200 fine and suspension of the driver’s license for up to a year.
