March In Sheldon Was Warmer, Drier Than Normal

Sheldon, Iowa — The month of March 2026 will go down as being warmer and drier than normal in Sheldon.

According to the weather facts collected by KIWA Radio, the highest high was 88 degrees, recorded on March 21st. The lowest high temperature was 16 degrees, recorded on March 16th.

The lowest low in the month was 3 degrees above zero on both March 15th and 16th. The highest low was 43 on March 25th.

The average high for the month was 53. The normal is 43. The average low was 26. The normal is 22. The average temperature as-a-whole for the month was 40 degrees, and normally it’s 33.
