Minnesota Man Arrested in Connection With 2025 Hull Assault Involving Minor

Hull, Iowa (Sioux County Radio) — A Minnesota man has been arrested in connection with an assault investigation dating back to last summer in Hull.

According to the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office, 45-year-old Thomas Kenneth Bartkowicz of Little Falls, Minnesota, was taken into custody on April 1st.

Authorities say the arrest stems from an incident reported on June 4th, 2025, in Hull. Following an investigation, officials say Bartkowicz allegedly reached into a vehicle and caused a minor female to consume a beverage. The female later sought medical attention.

Bartkowicz allegedly left the area after the incident. He was later located and apprehended in Minnesota on arrest warrants issued by the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office.

He was transported to the Sioux County Jail, where he has been cited on the charges of second-degree burglary, a Class C felony, and simple misdemeanor assault.

The Minnesota State Patrol assisted in the arrest. Bartkowicz is being held in the Sioux County Jail on a $10,000 bond.

Authorities emphasize that a criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
