Sioux Center, Iowa (Sioux County Radio) — Highway 75 in northern Sioux Center will receive more road construction updates in the not-too-distant future.
The Iowa DOT is leading the project in close coordination with Sioux County and the city of Sioux Center to improve Highway 75 in the next few years.
Sarah Tracy, District 3 Transportation Planner of the Iowa DOT, describes the updates and what they will affect.
That would be the intersection near the Shell Siouxper Center and Sioux Center’s McDonald’s.
Both B-30 junctions on 75 — the Carmel road intersection, and the one a mile south — have scheduled updates as well. Tracy lays out the updates coming to those junctions.
She says all of the improvements are scheduled to happen in 2027 and 2028.
