Sheldon, Iowa — A Sheldon institution has again scored high in nationwide rankings.
Officials with Northwest Iowa Community College (NCC) in Sheldon tell us the school has acquired top positions in three prestigious University HQ rankings for 2024.
NCC is ranked as the 5th best institution nationally for online Associate Degrees in Business, 7th in the Top 50 Best Online Associate Degrees nationwide, and stands as the leading institution in Iowa across all online college offerings. NCC officials tell us these accolades “affirm NCC’s commitment to providing an accessible, high-quality educational experience, whether students pursue their studies online or on campus.” They say, “Associate degrees offer a fast, cost-effective way to gain critical skills and advance educational credentials.”
Leah Murphy, Executive Dean of Student and Academic Services for NCC says, “NCC is thrilled to receive such high rankings from University HQ across multiple categories. These rankings reflect our dedicated approach to combining academic excellence with practical skills that equip our students for both immediate career success and future educational opportunities.”
She says NCC’s online programs are designed with the flexibility needed to cater to various educational and career paths, from direct workforce entry to foundational courses for further studies.
