Luverne, Minnesota — A Durham, North Carolina man died in an accident near Luverne, Minnesota on Tuesday, July 30, 2024.
The Minnesota State Patrol reports that at about 10:40 a.m. , 41-year-old David Houck of Durham, North Carolina was driving a 2024 Harley Davidson westbound on Interstate 90, about a half a mile west of Highway 75. They tell us that 31-year-old Brandon Feeken of Rushmore, Minnesota was operating a 2000 John Deere road grader in a construction zone on I-90.
The report says that the motorcycle struck the road grader while the grader and operator were working in the construction zone.
Houck was pronounced dead on the scene. Feeken reported no injuries.
The Rock County Sheriff’s Department, Luverne Fire Department, Sanford Luverne EMS, and the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) assisted at the scene.
