Ames, Iowa — Several northwest Iowa airports have been awarded funding for the 2025 fiscal year through the Iowa D.O.T’s State Aviation Program for aviation planning and development programs.
The Sioux County Regional Airport near Maurice will receive $88,125 toward a $117,500 South Apron Utility Expansion.
The Rock Rapids Municipal Airport will receive $400,000 toward an Airfield Lighting Replacement project that is estimated to cost $570,000.
The Milford and Spencer airports were also awarded funds through the program.
