O’Brien County Fair Continues In Primghar

Primghar, Iowa — The O’Brien County Fair continues in Primghar through Thursday.

This Wednesday, July 24th is the last full day of the fair. Activities will include a swine show in the show ring, the Clover Kids’ Pet Show on the Wayne Maass Memorial Stage, and the Roster Crowing Contest at the Poultry Barn. The commercial building and the petting zoo will both open at 10 a.m.

Registration for the Traditional Cinnamon Roll Contest begins at 11:00. There will also be a Strolling Bubble Act, the Overall Showmanship Contest in the Show Ring, and the Judging of Educational Presentations and Working Exhibits.

The Traditional Cinnamon Roll Contest Judging will be at 1:00 and Kayla James will start juggling at 2:00.

Other activities include the Livestock Judging Contest, Share the Fun, 4-H Style Show, and 4-H Citizenship & Club Awards on the Wayne Maass Memorial Stage, the Farm Bureau Watermelon Feed in the Food Court, ATV Races in the Horse Arena, Auto Races sponsored by the Primghar Jaycees, and the 100th Anniversary of the O’Brien County Fair Fireworks Show.
