Ocheyedan Days Of Olde Underway Now

Ocheyedan, Iowa — The annual Ocheyedan “Days Of Olde” are going on right now in Ocheyedan.

On Friday night, there’s a bake sale from 5 to 8. Food vendors, Cold Stone ice cream, and steak night at the Corner Club are all from now until 9. The kids’ parade is at 6. There will be face paining from 6 to 8 and kids’ kickball from 7 to 8. A co-ed volleyball tournament starts at 6:30, and a movie in the park starts at 8:45.

Saturday is the big day of activities with a BBQ competition, a coffee truck in the morning, a 5K Fun Run and Walk, the parade, food vendors, a kids’ pedal pull, and fire truck rides. At the Tracy House Museum, they’ll have an ice cream social and pulled pork sandwiches after the parade. From noon to 4, there’s music by Uncle Otis. They’ll also have a carmel apple bar, a vendor fair, kids’ inflatables, a mechanical bull, a car show, a foam party, and a street dance. They’ll also have a breakfast food truck, but according to the schedule, it will be there Saturday evening from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. early Sunday.

On Sunday there’s an Ocheyedan Community Town Hall Revival Worship Service at 10, a community lunch, a bean bag tournament, and pickleball.
