Arnolds Park, Iowa — The 90th Annual Okoboji Bible Conference is underway this week in Arnolds Park.
Pastor Dave Van Kley of Bethel Reformed Church in Sheldon is this year’s conference pastor. He tells us about all the changes in the last 90 years.
He says people come to the conference from a wide radius.
Van Kley says there are morning programs every day and evening programs including special musicians every night of the conference, but afternoons are open and many people use the afternoons to take in the entertainment in the Iowa Great Lakes from fishing, boating and water sports to the Arnolds Park Amusement Park, which is practically next door to the conference grounds.
Pastor Van Kley tells us what’s coming up this Wednesday and the rest of the week at the Okoboji Bible Conference.
He tells us you can come for the whole conference, one or two events, or anything in between. All events except the women’s luncheon are free, with a freewill offering accepted.
