Washington, DC (RI) — Iowa Congresswoman Ashley Hinson says she is sponsoring a bill to increase penalties against those who attack ICE agents.
Hinson, a Republican from Marion, is sponsoring a bill called the “Respect and Protect ICE ACT.”
Hinson says the bill will provide the necessary deterrent as the agents carry out President Trump’s immigration agenda.
Hinson represents the Second District, but announced she is running for Senate after fellow Republican Joni Ernst said she would not run again.
