Sheldon, Iowa — Considering the heat that is forecast in the next few days, and with RiseFest this Friday and Saturday in Sheldon, many people could be feeling the brunt of the heat.
We talked to Rise Ministries Founder and President Rob Roozeboom, who’s in charge of the Christian music and more festival in Sheldon, and he tells us they will be prepared to help people deal with the heat.
RiseFest is a two-day Christian music festival that features the nation’s top Christian artists and speakers, as well as seminars, activities for kids of all ages, and much more. This year’s festival will feature Chris Tomlin, Matthew West, Crowder, Rend Collective, and many more at the RiseFest grounds, west of Fareway in Sheldon. Things get underway Friday afternoon at about 4:00.
