Hull, Iowa — A Rock Valley man was taken to a hospital after a crash near Perkins Corner on Wednesday, October 15th.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office tells us that about 11:45 a.m., 45-year-old Jeremy Ironfield of Rock Valley, IA, was driving a 2019 Chevrolet Equinox westbound on 310th Street. They say 25-year-old Seth Rozeboom of Lennox, SD, was driving a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado northbound on Highway 75.
The report says Ironfield failed to yield from the stop sign and attempted to cross Highway 75. The vehicles collided in the intersection.
The Hull Ambulance took Ironfield to Hegg Health Center in Rock Valley. Rozeboom and a passenger in his vehicle reported minor injuries but declined further medical attention.
Damage for each vehicle was estimated at $10,000.
Ironfield was charged with failure to yield from a stop sign and failure to use a safety belt.
The sheriff’s office tells us the Hull Ambulance Squad, Hull Fire Department, Sioux Center Ambulance Squad, and the Iowa State Patrol assisted with the response to the crash.
