Sheldon, Iowa — At a recent Sheldon City Council strategic planning session, an idea was discussed to help Sheldon grow and make it easier for young families to live here.
Sheldon City Manager Sam Kooiker spoke recently on our Talk of the Town program and he tells us about the funding proposal for Children’s World.
What that would really mean is a reduction in the amount of money that parents would have to pay to have their baby taken care of at Children’s World while the parents pursue their careers.
That works out to a dollar-per-hour reduction. Kooiker tells us how it would work on the City’s end.
He says the program would have a minimal amount of “red tape.”
For more information on the proposal, you can call Sheldon City Hall.
