Sheldon, Iowa — During this National Fire Prevention Week, the Sheldon Fire Company is raising funds for a fire boat. And you can help at an event this Thursday night, October 10th.

The burgers will be grilled by the O’Brien County Cattlemen. He gives us some more details.
Hindt says the need for a fire boat came to light this summer during the flood.
He says they’d like to buy some equipment to go with the boat as well.
The burger feed fundraiser is this Thursday night, October 10th from 5-7 p.m. at the Sheldon Fire Station.
