Sheldon, Iowa — It’ll be homecoming next week at Sheldon High School. The homecoming court has been announced.
Candidates for Homecoming King include Cooper Meyer-Vander Sluis, Braeden Mouw, Owen Brouwer, Kolton Roos, and Mitchel Fischer.
Homecoming Queen candidates are Jada Kamstra, Bella Michels, Aubrey Erkes, Kailey Elgersma, and Taya Sudbeck.
Brouwer is the son of Mike Brouwer and Trisha Nordgaard. Fischer is the son of Steve and Angie Fischer. Meyer-Vander Sluis is the son of Greg & Jeni Vander Sluis. Mouw is the son of Brian and Mary Mouw. Roos is the son of Kory and Julie Roos.
Elgersma is the daughter of Jamie and Peggy Elgersma. Erkes is the daughter of Dave and Jennifer Erkes. Kamstra is the daughter of Derek and Angela Kamstra. Michels is the daughter of John and Sarah Michels, and Sudbeck is the daughter of Brad and Lisa Sudbeck.
Homecoming Coronation will be at the high school gym on Tuesday, September 23rd.
Pride Night will begin at 8:00 p.m. with coronation culminating the evening.
In addition to many other activities, the Homecoming Parade around the school property will be at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, September 26th. The Orabs will play Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley in the Homecoming Football Game that night.
