A Sheldon physician says when it comes to cancer, one of the first things you can do is be aware of the risk factors.
Sanford Sheldon physician Dr. Ryan Becker spoke on our Talk of the Town program on Tuesday and told us that it all starts with making sure you are seeing your doctor on a regular basis.
Dr. Becker tells us about one form of cancer that touches nearly everyone.
He says another one that can be screened for is colon cancer.
He says the colonoscopy is still the “gold standard,” however.
