George, IA – A Sheldon women was taken to a hospital after an accident on Saturday at 4100 block of 210th Street east of George.
According to the Lyon County Sheriff’s office, the preliminary investigation determined that Jenna Jungers of Sheldon was operating a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu eastbound on 210th Street when it left the roadway and rolled into the ditch. Jungers and a juvenile passenger were transported to a local hospital by ambulance with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
The vehicle was determined to be a total loss and the investigation is ongoing.
Assisting at the scene was the George Fire Department, the George EMS, the Lyon County Ambulance and The Tow Company.
