Sheldon, Iowa — A local Sheldon business has broken ground for their new building in eastern Sheldon. Crystallyn Kay’s Studio (CKS) and friends broke ground on Friday.
Mark Brown spoke on behalf of the Sheldon Chamber and Development Corporation (SCDC).
City Manager Sam Kooiker spoke on behalf of the City of Sheldon.
Kiana Johnson with O’Brien County Economic Development spoke on their behalf and that of the O’Brien County Revolving Loan Fund.
Owner Crystallyn Sterler tells us how the business got started.
She talks about the timeframe for the new facility.
While the new building is being built, she says they continue to be open and offer classes and other services in their current location.
